A Topographical Dictionary of Ireland (Lewis, 1837)
•Butler's Gift, part of Baurnahulla, was the location of the estate of Richard Tonson, a local landowner. Butler's Gift got its name from Tonson having been given property by Major Anthony Butler, a friend of his grandfather.
